The Adventures of Parenting – Terms and Conditions
These terms are to be used alongside our privacy policy. This document constitutes an agreement between The Adventures of Parenting and all people attending courses, workshops or consultations by us.
Acceptance of terms and conditions
Payment is required in full when booking a course, workshop or consultation to secure places. Bookings taking advantage of any discounts or offers must be paid in full prior to the lapse of any offer to secure the said discount.
Most bookings can be paid via PAYPAL. We may also accept online banks transfers when agreed.
Refunds / Cancellations
1. Course cancelled by The Adventures of Parenting
If we have to cancel a course or a session, The Adventures of Parenting will endeavour to give a minimum 48 hours' notice. The client will be entitled to a full refund or if preferred, the client can be credited towards further courses, workshops and consultations.
2. Courses cancelled by the client
A. Courses and workshops
For cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled start of the event, the client will receive a full refund, however, will incur a £5 admin fee. If the client chooses the payment can be credited towards other courses, workshops or consultations.
For any cancellations made less than 7 days of notice, The Adventures of Parenting reserve the right to deduct from any repayment a £30 admin charge preparing for the client's attendance of the course.
After commencement of course.
After the commencement of the course, The Adventures of Parenting will offer the client credit towards any other courses, workshops or consultations. The credit amount will be the original cost with the deduction of sessions attended and will incur a £5 admin fee.
No monetary refund available once the course has started.
Missed Sessions.
If you are unable to attend a session, we ask you to inform us as soon as possible. For any missed sessions we will provide a free recording of the class free of charge. The recording will be available for a limited period.
B. Private consultations
If clients are unable to attend, we ask for a minimum of 48 hour's notice of cancellation. Given this notice a full refund or credit will be made. If less than 48 hours' notice is given a 50 percent cancellation fee is required.
C. Nursery Talks
Training courses hosted and being paid for by a nursery.
Where a nursery is paying for The Adventures of Parenting directly training course, we request 28 day's notice of cancellation by the nursery to qualify for a full refund. If the training course is cancelled by the nursery with less than 28 days notice , The Adventures of Parenting requires a 50 percent cancellation fee. Cancellation in 10 days or less will result in the loss of 100 percent fees paid.
In the event, The Adventures of Parenting cancels any training courses for a nursery, a full refund will be made.
Recordings
We may record online or live courses, workshops or consultations.
Any recordings made can be available to those people who either attend or have subsequently been unable to attend the courses.
All clients hereby agree to keep information or anything discussed by a participant confidential.
Information Packs
The Adventures of Parenting reserves the right to modify any contents of the courses or workshops from time to time. We are committed to providing up to date information so at times some of our documents may change.
The Adventures of Parenting reserves the right to cancel any courses or workshops while being modified. All cancellation terms apply as stated above.
Child Safety and Confidentiality Agreement
Any content or information shared on courses, workshops or consultations will not be discussed with anyone. This information is strictly confidential, this not goes for the members of The Adventures of Parenting but the participants as well.
If at any time while in a session with any of our clients and we believe that a child is suffering or at risk of being significantly harmed or neglected, necessary steps will be taken to inform the appropriate authorities of these concerns, as required by law.
